Does the hotel have WiFi?

Yes, Clayton Hotel Charlemont is pleased to offer complimentary WiFi in all public areas and bedrooms.

Can I cancel or amend my booking?

Clayton Hotel Charlemont offers free cancellation up to 2.00pm 24 hours prior to the day of arrival for almost all reservations made on or Some special offers and key dates may specify a special cancellation policy, these will be clearly outlined in the terms & conditions.

Reservations booked via on third party websites and online travel agents have their own cancellation policies, please refer to your confirmation email.

Is there a gym in the hotel?

Due to the current situation with COVID-19 and in accordance with government directives, our fitness suite is operating with limited capacity and must be pre-booked by contacting us through the guest services platform or by ringing reception.

Are there meeting rooms or conference facilities?

We have newly built, state of the art meeting rooms. All rooms are equipped with High-Tech AV systems.

What are the times for breakfast?

Monday – Friday 7.30 am – 09.30 am
Saturday – Sunday & Bank Holidays 8.30 am – 11:00 am

How to book a car parking space? 

The parking at the hotel is valet parking, at €25 per night, that can be paid on arrival. Parking time is from 3.00pm to 12 noon the next day.

We would require the following information to book a car parking space:

  • Colour and Model of your car
  • Arrival time
  • Departure time
  • Contact number

Can I claim back on the Stay and Spend Tax Credit Scheme?

Yes, our hotel is registered for the Stay and Spend Tax Credit Scheme. If you stay with us between 1st October 2020 and 30th April 2021 you can claim up to €125 under this scheme, please see for details.
