Opening their doors in May 2015, Sova Vegan Butcher has put great care in composing vegan dishes that taste excellent while providing all the essential nutrients with the benefits for your body and soul. Their aim is to promote vegan food and healthy lifestyle.

Sova Vegan Butcher provides an array of plant-based “meats” on the menu, such as “scallops”, soy-based “schnitzels”, polenta “meatballs”, and seitan “steak”. While the thought of a vegan butcher may sound like a practical joke, make no mistake – dinner here will be as filling and rich as anywhere else you’ll find in Dublin. Sova Vegan Butcher is just an eight-minute drive from Clayton Hotel Charlemont.

 

2. Veginity

Veginity love to challenge the perception that good food must include meat. Fusing global gourmet flavours, quality plant-based ingredients, creative food science techniques and affordability to create a unique food experience. Although their food is all plant-based, they welcome all types of foodies, encouraging them to be kinder to the earth while also treating their taste buds.

You can find Veginity on Upper Dorset Street Dublin, only a Nine-teen-minute drive from Clayton Hotel Charlemont. Serving breakfast, brunch, and a-la-carte dinner.

 

3. Cornucopia

Cornucopia is a much loved and long-established Vegan/Vegetarian restaurant based in Dublin City Centre Wicklow Street, just a fourteen-minute drive from Clayton Hotel Charlemont. Cornucopia strives to be an ethical business, especially focusing on the impact people have on the environment. They believe that every home, business, and individual should make an effort to reduce their impact on the world. Living by their motto that “We can all make the difference”.

Making all the difference they can, the Cornucopia staff have put a number of must do guidelines for their establishment. These include; Compostable Packaging – food containers, straws, takeaway cups, and even disposable gloves. Cornucopia allow and encourage their customers to bring in their own containers and offer a 5% discount if you do so. Zero waste products such a chilly water bottles, Ecocoffee cups, etc, are now available in store to encourage customers to cut down their waste.

 

4. Umi Falafel

Umi Falafel are strong believers in making heathy, delicious and affordable food for busy and health-conscious customers. Their falafel mix is prepared every morning seven days a week and contains fourteen [magic] ingredients that creates the y-umi goodness. Making all their sauces fresh daily in-house, and their salads, pickles and sauces are made to a family recipe and chopped fresh throughout the day in Umi Falafel’s pure veg kitchen.

Established in 2013, and beloved within the vegetarian and vegan community in Ireland, Umi Falafel is located at Dame Street, Mary Street, The George’s Street Arcade and Rathmines Road, which is the closest location from the Clayton Charlemont with only a six-minute drive.
